Green plum, or Prunus mume, or Qing Mei Guo in Chinese, contains abundant calcium, iron, sodium, manganese, and other essential nutrients and organic acids for the human body. It is a common fruit in China Fujian and Taiwan and its neighboring Asian countries. Green plum was first applied medically by Chinese herbalists in the 5th century. It has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine to help in the purification of blood, promotion of metabolism, and in digestion, detoxification and enhancing bowel movement.

Mulberry leaf (powder), which Latin name is Folium mori, and Chinese name is Sangye, is rich in multiple trace elements, such as amino acids, vitamin C and antioxidants that are essential to the human body. In traditional Chinese medicine, cassia seeds are mainly used to treat conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, dizziness, and headache caused by liver inflammation. It is used in combination with the drugs for clearing liver inflammation, relieving dryness and loosening the bowels.

Dietary fiber or roughage is the indigestible portion of food derived from plants. It has two main components.
